Better From Here Music is an independent record label based in Ann Arbor, Michigan representing indie music artist Larkn. Larkn is looking for a part-time booking agent to help handle communications with music venues, radio stations, record stores and other businesses while booking gigs.

 

This is a part-time (mostly remote), music industry commission-based job with training provided. Estimated work load is 10-20 hour per week with flexible income based on gigs booked (estimated income is $800-$1500 per month, on average around $18-20 hours per hour).

 

No previous experience in booking music artists or entertainment is required, but an interest in being a self-starter is preferred and helpful, as this is a commission-based job, with potential for growth and career development as a professional booking agent. Also an ability to professionally represent Larkn, adhere to instructions and pay attention to dates and details in contracts is a must.

 

Can provide in-person training if you live in the Ann Arbor Michigan area, but job can be conducted mostly remote. Mostly an email job, so communication skills matter. A smart phone and laptop might be helpful to be most effective. Looking for help right away!
