Since a young age, I was entertaining babysitters, bus riders and school auditoriums, starring in my high school's musical theatre productions of Annie Oakley and Once Upon A Mattress, where my role as Lady Larken, inspired my artist name, Larkn. 

From my range of experiences from learning classical piano as a child to training at Berklee College of Music to years spent as a solo, entrepreneurial artist in Los Angeles, I amassed a wealth of knowledge in the area of creating and marketing music that I am passionate to pass down through my growing Ann Arbor-based record label, Better From Here Music.
